Commissions

To commission a painting, please email me at info@paulinakwietniewska.com with some information about the nature of your request.
The first part of every commission is an honest conversation. Please let me know the type of project you are interested in: is it a portrait, a still life, a figure? What size are you looking for? Do you have photographs you’d like to use as a reference or would you prefer to sit for the portrait? Where are you based? Is there any specific date you need the portrait for?

All commissions are priced individually. If you’d like to discuss my process or have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
After I’ve received your enquiry, I will get back to you with answers and we can make arrangements.

Depending on the nature of every commission, I choose the best way to proceed. I sometimes do initial sketches for larger or more complex pieces. However, most times I simply start painting. I usually don’t send progress photographs of the painting and only show it when I consider it finished or if I’m in doubt and wish to consult the client. Once the piece is ready, I email the pictures to the collector and see if there’s anything that needs to be adjusted. If there’s any detail you’d like me to change at this point, it’s usually possible.

I ship my paintings worldwide. I use different couriers depending on the location of my client. Depending on my current whereabouts, I ship either from Poland or the UK.
