Hi, my name is Paulina Kwietniewska and I am the hands & heart behind the paintings on this website.

I started my career as a portrait painter when on maternity leave with my first child in March 2016 and it became a full time job ever since. All artwork on this website has been created by me. I work in a variety of mediums, including watercolour, oils and ink.

I also enjoy analogue photography and alternative photographic processes like cyanotype. 

In 2019 I was selected by the Mall Galleries as one of their young artists for In The Studio programme which took place in London. The gallery is operated by the Federation of British Artists, a major visual arts charity established in 1961.

I spent many years living in London (before that I lived in Spain and Italy) and now I spend a fair bit of my time in Poland focusing on my studio time however I'm in the UK about half of the time.
